Overview
Hey Owen is an AI calling assistant that helps users prepare and place phone calls, then review the outcome and transcript. This policy explains the information Hey Owen handles when you visit the public site, create an account, prepare a call, or use calling features.
Information handled
Depending on how the product is used, Owen may handle:
- your verified Google account identifier and email address
- phone numbers, organization names, and call instructions you provide
- call-plan previews and edits made before a call
- call metadata such as timestamps and call outcomes
- normalized call transcripts and relevant conversation events
- policy acceptance, access, waitlist, and account-status records
- limited technical information used for security, rate limiting, and abuse prevention
How information is used
Information may be used to:
- place requested outbound calls
- create editable previews and return call transcripts
- maintain your private call history and send call results by email
- operate account access, limits, security, reliability, and abuse prevention
- enforce the Terms and Acceptable Use Policy
Service providers
Hey Owen relies on service providers for verified sign-in, bot protection, AI processing, telephone calls and transcription, email delivery, hosting, and database infrastructure. These providers process information as needed to provide their part of the service and are subject to their own terms and privacy practices.
Retention and deletion
Terminal call records, normalized call details, approved call plans, transcripts, and unreferenced previews are retained for 90 days by default. You can permanently delete an individual terminal call from its call detail or delete your Hey Owen account from the app. A minimal deletion audit may be retained for 365 days. Database recovery may temporarily restore deleted information; recorded deletions must be reapplied before normal service resumes.
Your choices
You may review and edit a call before it begins, leave without placing a call, delete eligible call records, delete your account, or contact us with a privacy question. Account deletion removes the account data, previews, call history, and transcripts associated with the account, subject to the limited audit and recovery handling described above.
